Football Game Preview: Lake-Lehman Knights vs. Tunkhannock Tigers

The Lake-Lehman Knights will venture away from home to take on the Tunkhannock Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tunkhannock took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake-Lehman, who comes in off a win.

Lake-Lehman's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Greater Nanticoke Area to the tune of 42-0. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 42 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tunkhannock fell victim to Hanover Area and their airtight defense on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-0 to the Hawkeyes, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake-Lehman has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.0 points on average over those games. As for Tunkhannock, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Lake-Lehman against Tunkhannock in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
