Football Recap: West Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were dealt a 63-0 loss at the hands of the Chavez Titans. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 816th, while the Titans are ranked 226th).

Logan Barry threw for 85 yards on eight of 27 attempts. Christian Balderrama was his top target, picking up 75 receiving yards.

As for Chavez, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Joel Donnell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 180 yards and three TDs on only eight carries, while also catching one score. Elijah Walker was another key player, throwing for 324 yards and four touchdowns.

West and Chavez will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Wolfpack see the field they'll take on Tokay at 7:15 p.m. on the 17th. As for Chavez, their break will end when they face Weston Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
