Volleyball Recap: Prestonsburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jenkins on Tuesday, Prestonsburg came back down to earth. The Blackcats fell 3-1 to the Pike County Central Hawks on Thursday. The Blackcats have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Prestonsburg now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pike County Central, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prestonsburg will venture away from home to challenge Belfry at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pike County Central, they will head out to square off against East Ridge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
