Volleyball Recap: St. Bernard Takes a Loss

St. Bernard lost against Verbum Dei Jesuit two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Bernard's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

St. Bernard will square off against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, they will be playing at home against Serra at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
