Softball Recap: Vestavia Hills Beats West Point for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Vestavia Hills got themselves on the board against West Point on Tuesday, but West Point never followed suit. They blew past the Warriors 7-0. Considering the Rebels have won six games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Vestavia Hills' fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for West Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Vestavia Hills will take on Spain Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Point, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Houston Academy on the 25th.
