Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Triumphs

Lakeview proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Salem Academy Crusaders 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Honkers have posted since September 21, 2024.

Lakeview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Salem Academy, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Lakeview has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Burns on the 4th. As for Salem Academy, they will face off against Santiam Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
