Glencoe and Lakeridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Glencoe had to settle for second. They took a 35-21 bruising from the Pacers. The Crimson Tide's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Glencoe lost, don't look at Daniel Heninger. Despite the final result, he rushed for 185 yards and one score while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Heninger was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.

Ansu Sanoe was his usual excellent self, rushing for 158 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also picking up 47 receiving yards for Lakeridge. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Sanoe a new career-high.

Glencoe's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Lakeridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Glencoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 21-7 defeat against Nelson on the 14th.
