Baseball Recap: Mcgregor Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

McGregor's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Live Oak Classical Falcons get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The result came thanks to Shaun Coleman's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks.

McGregor's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Live Oak Classical, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.

Coming up, McGregor will face off against West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Live Oak Classical, they will be taking part in a tournament against Brook Hill at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Brook Hill will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Live Oak Classical surely won't give up without a fight.
