Volleyball Recap: Our Lady Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Our Lady Academy entered their tilt with Tylertown on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Chiefs 3-0. The Crescents have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chiefs, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Our Lady Academy took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-2, 25-8, 25-3.

Our Lady Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Myah Favre out in front who hit 88.9% for eight kills and eight aces and eight assists. Favre has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 57 times she's played.

Favre wasn't the only good server: Our Lady Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 36 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.

Our Lady Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Tylertown, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Our Lady Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Purvis at 7:00 p.m. As for Tylertown, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Patrick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
