Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Ryken Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Ryken had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Catholic Crusaders and fell 70-37. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Catholic has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

St. Mary's Ryken and Catholic will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Knights see the court they'll take on Calvert at 7:00 p.m. on November 19. As for Catholic, their break will end when they face Roanoke Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on November 21.
