Pueblo East lost against Liberty back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 2-1. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ashlynn Koch paced Pueblo East's offense, picking up 14 kills. Koch got some help from Cheyanne Ortiz and her 30 assists. Reagan Falletta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pueblo East's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Liberty, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-15.

Pueblo East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Grand Junction Central on the 1st. As for Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Walsenburg on the 1st.
