Pierce is a perfect 10-0 against Wayne since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bluejays will head out to square off against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Pierce duked it out with O'Neill on Friday. The Bluejays took a 33-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. While the Bluejays didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 7-0 in the first quarter.

Although Pierce took the loss, they still got scores from Brody Scholting, Ryder Theisen, and Hayden Bauer.

Meanwhile, Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Lakeview 55-7. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Vikings are ranked ninth).

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Pierce took their victory against Wayne in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 41-21 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
