Basketball Recap: Shamrock Irish vs. Booker Kiowas
Shamrock and Booker squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Shamrock had to settle for second. They took a 65-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Booker Kiowas. The Irish have struggled against the Kiowas recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Shamrock saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jeff Rollerson went 10-for-21 on his way to 34 points and five boards. Rollerson is becoming a predictor of Shamrock's success: when he posts at least 30 points the team is 2-1 (and 7-15 when he doesn't). Kyle Ishee was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.
