Football Recap: Holy Ground Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Holy Ground Baptist Academy and New Creation Christian Academy pushed the score to 58-12 the last time they played New Creation Christian Academy, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Stallions came up short against the Crusaders, falling 22-0. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Holy Ground Baptist Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Holy Ground Baptist Academy and New Creation Christian Academy will both be playing Kings Way Christian School the next time they take the field. The Crusaders will host the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Stallions will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
