The defeat comes as a step back for Atrisco Heritage Academy, which notched a 40-6 victory over Valencia in its previous outing. With the win RR extended its winning streak to three games.
Atrisco Heritage Academy (4-1) will play a 5A District 5 game against Valley next week, while Rio Rancho (5-1) will take on Eldorado in a non-conference game.
