Kouts extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-0. They were the clear victors by a 64-41 margin over the South Central Satellites. The Mustangs & Fillies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 23 points or more this season.

As for South Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Despite the loss, South Central still got an impressive performance from Jay Huerta, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points. Huerta has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 45% every time he's hit the court this season. Jack Haschel also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Kouts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-39 win against Marquette Catholic on the 13th. As for South Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 69-51 victory against North Judson-San Pierre on the 13th.
