Soccer Recap: Suwannee's Losing Streak Snapped at 12 Games

Suwannee had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Fort White Indians on Wednesday. Andrew Ibarra had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Bulldogs.

Suwannee's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15-1. As for Fort White, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-17-1.

Suwannee will be playing in front of their home fans against Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Suwannee will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last. As for Fort White, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Bell on the 16th.
