Sunnyslope has gone a perfect 7-0 against Chandler recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Sunnyslope and ten for Chandler.

Sunnyslope is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: O'Connor, who was ranked sixth at the time (Sunnyslope was ranked 11th). The Vikings fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Vikings fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Eagles since Thursday.

Sunnyslope started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 14-25, 25-11, 25-17, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Chandler came up short against Casteel on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Sunnyslope's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Chandler, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-24.

Everything went Sunnyslope's way against Chandler in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Sunnyslope made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
