Soccer Recap: Pine Finds Playoff Glory Versus St. Joseph Academy

With a playoff win on the line, Pine rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Joseph Academy Flashes, sneaking past 2-1. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Flashes are ranked 65th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Pine's 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 67 goals over those 13 matches. As for St. Joseph Academy, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-8.
