Wyatt Speers gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Monday. He was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Speers' strong effort led Cottondale over Blountstown and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
