Baseball Recap: Flinthills Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Elk on Monday, Flinthills came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Patriots on Monday, falling 15-2. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Flinthills' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for West Elk, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-3.

Coming up, Flinthills will take on Eureka at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Elk, they will face off against South Haven on Monday.
