Soccer Recap: Fort Dodge Takes a Loss

Fort Dodge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Janesville Wildcats, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Fort Dodge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Janesville are ranked seventh).

Fort Dodge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Janesville, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0-1.

Fort Dodge wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against Clarksville on the 20th. Janesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
