Basketball Game Preview: Griffin Bears vs. Hampton Hornets + How To Watch

The Griffin Bears will be taking part in a tournament against the Hampton Hornets on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Saturday, Griffin earned a 65-58 win over Chapel Hill. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Meanwhile, Hampton was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 62-55 to Woodland. Hornets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wolfpack since last Tuesday.

Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Griffin, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Griffin came up short against Hampton when the teams last played back in November of 2018, falling 45-37. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
