Baseball Recap: Eastern York Takes a Loss

Eastern York lost against New Oxford on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Knights fell just short of the Colonials by a score of 4-3.

Parker Strayer and Brock Adams did some serious damage despite the final result: Strayer went 3-for-6 with two stolen bases and one RBI, while Adams went 3-for-5 with two RBI.

Eastern York's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for New Oxford, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Eastern York has already played their next contest, an 8-5 defeat against Kennard-Dale on the 30th. As for New Oxford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Susquehannock on the 30th.
