Nobody could stop Quinn Pullen on Tuesday as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than six strikeouts. This year, he has been strong no matter where he plays. On the mound, he has an ERA of 2.33 over 12 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat he has slashed 0.421/0.500/0.895 with 12 runs.

Even though Pullen couldn't lead Cate over Dunn, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cate hasn't beaten Dunn recently, having gone 0-3 since March of 2022.
