Tampa Prep is 2-8 against Berkeley Prep since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Terrapins will welcome the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Tampa Prep turned things around against Carrollwood Day on Monday. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 8-1 victory. That looming 8-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Terrapins yet this season.

Erik Skiendziel looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Tampa Prep got a big performance out of Langston Sallis, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Luc Thornton, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Tampa Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Berkeley Prep made easy work of McKeel Academy on Tuesday and carried off a 12-5 win. With that victory, the Buccaneers brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Nolan Parmer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits.
Berkeley Prep's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Tampa Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Tampa Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Berkeley Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 6-3. Will the Terrapins repeat their success, or do the Buccaneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
