Recap: St. Paul Wildcats vs. Scotus Shamrocks

The St. Paul Wildcats were the 42-35 winner over the Scotus Shamrocks when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. St. Paul's tough 41-21 loss to Scotus on Tuesday might stick with them for a while.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natalie Poss, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Gracie Kelley, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.

St. Paul bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Scotus, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

St. Paul will head out on the road to face off against Aurora at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Aurora focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday. As for Scotus, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Bishop Neumann at 3:30 p.m. Bishop Neumann will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
