Soccer Game Preview: Manchester vs. Cosby

Manchester is 1-9 against Cosby since March of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lancers will take on the Titans at 7:30 p.m.

Manchester fell victim to Monacan and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cosby, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Richmond High School for the Arts with a sharp 10-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Cosby, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Cosby, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7-1.

Manchester beat Cosby 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
