Volleyball Recap: Indio Takes a Loss

If Indio was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Coachella Valley last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indio Rajahs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cathedral City Lions on Tuesday. The Rajahs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Indio's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Cathedral City, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Looking ahead, Indio will square off against Banning at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Banning will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Indio surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cathedral City, they will face off against Desert Mirage at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th.
