Basketball Game Preview: Fowler Redcats vs. Fresno Christian Eagles

The Fowler Redcats will head out to take on the Fresno Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fowler knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Fresno Christian likes a good challenge.

Fowler is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since December 14, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Yosemite 57-35.

Meanwhile, Fresno Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against San Joaquin Memorial, falling 76-51. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Panthers are ranked 49th).

Fowler's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Fresno Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.

Fowler couldn't quite finish off Fresno Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 and fell 54-52. Can Fowler avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
