Volleyball Game Preview: Milton Red Hawks vs. Waunakee Warriors

Milton is 1-9 against Waunakee since September of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Red Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Milton didn't have quite enough to beat DeForest and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Waunakee beat Beaver Dam 2-0 on Saturday.

Waunakee not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Beaver Dam between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Waunakee, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7 record this season.

Milton couldn't quite get it done against Waunakee in their previous matchup on Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Red Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
