Jackson picks up 16th straight win at home

Recap: Jackson Aggies vs. Clarke County Bulldogs

The Jackson Aggies entered their tilt with the Clarke County Bulldogs with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Jackson blew past Clarke County, posting a 76-45 victory at home. Considering Jackson has won five games by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Caster, who scored 23 points along with eight assists and five steals. The game was Caster's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Keeyun Chapman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Jackson pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Clarke County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will take on Leroy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarke County, they will head out on the road to face off against Choctaw County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Choctaw County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
