Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodlawn can now relate to. They took a blow against the Christopher Bearcats on Wednesday, falling 71-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since December 27, 2024.

Woodlawn has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. The win was the third in a row for Christopher, bringing their record for this year to 17-13.

As of now, neither Woodlawn nor Christopher have any future games scheduled.
