Basketball Recap: Enderlin's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Enderlin had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs by a score of 58-49 on Thursday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Enderlin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karson Gruba, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Gruba a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Cimbura, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points and five steals.

The victory got Enderlin back to even at 1-1. As for South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley], their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Enderlin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-19 loss against Lisbon on the 20th. As for South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley], they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge North Central at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
