Basketball Recap: Southwest Atlanta Christian Skates Past Utopian Academy for the Arts with Ease

Southwest Atlanta Christian won the last time they faced Utopian Academy for the Arts and things went their way on Friday too. The Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors blew past Utopian Academy for the Arts 78-33. That looming 78-33 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Southwest Atlanta Christian was led to victory by Talyn Harris and Chase Wiggins. Harris went 7 for 12 on his way to 16 points and five steals, while Wiggins dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Wiggins is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Chidike Eke-Okoro was another key player, putting up ten points.

Southwest Atlanta Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-18 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points over those games. As for Utopian Academy for the Arts, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-23.
