Volleyball Recap: Christopher Victorious

Christopher won the last time they faced Cobden and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bearcats came out on top against the Appleknockers by a score of 2-0.

The victory didn't come easy: Cobden scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18.

Caitlyn DeWeerdt paced Christopher's offense, picking up 14 kills. DeWeerdt got some help from Halle Flatt and her 13 assists. Finally, DeWeerdt was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

The win got Christopher back to even at 2-2. As for Cobden, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Christopher didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Eldorado on the 4th. As for Cobden, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Carrier Mills-Stonefort on the 4th.
