Soccer Recap: Sarasota Military Academy Wins Going Away Against Babcock

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy, Sarasota Military Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Babcock Trailblazers with a sharp 4-1 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Eagles pulled away in the second half with three goals.

Sarasota Military Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for Babcock, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Sarasota Military Academy and Bayshore will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Sarasota Military Academy is facing Bayshore at the right time seeing as Bayshore is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Babcock, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sarasota Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
