Basketball Recap: Ribault Finds Playoff Glory Versus Stanton

It's playoff time, and Ribault had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Stanton Blue Devils 66-15. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Ribault's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trinity Berry led the charge by going 8 for 20 to rack up 24 points and five assists. Berry's morning made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Trista Brown was another key player, going 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven assists and six steals.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Ribault, bringing their record for this year to 17-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Stanton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, Ribault will square off against Raines at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ribault has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three games. Stanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
