McLean win going away against White Deer

The McLean Tigers''s game two weeks ago was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past White Deer with points to spare, taking the game 32-15. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for McLean's zero-point performance the matchup before.

Jack Magee had a dynamite game for McLean, rushing for 156 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Caleb Steward did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.

McLean has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for White Deer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLean will take on Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Miami knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully McLean likes a good challenge. As for White Deer, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Follett at 7:00 p.m. Follett presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than White Deer in Texas (Follett is ranked 22nd, while White Deer is ranked 138th).
