Soccer Recap: Waukegan's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren Township, Waukegan was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Maine East Blue Demons get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Waukegan as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jocelyn Lopez and Lizbeth Solano scored both of Waukegan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Waukegan's win bumped their record up to 5-7-2. As for Maine East, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
