Basketball Recap: East Rockingham Comes Up Short

East Rockingham lost against Monticello back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The East Rockingham Eagles fell 57-48 to the Monticello Mustangs.

East Rockingham's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Monticello, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

East Rockingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monticello, they will take on Western Albemarle at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
