Baseball Recap: Jonesville Takes a Loss

Jonesville couldn't beat Manchester on Wednesday even though they stacked nine runs on them in the sixth inning. The Comets fell just short of the Flying Dutchmen by a score of 13-12.

Carsen Cornila was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Devan Herendeen, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Jonesville's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Manchester, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

As of now, neither Jonesville nor the Flying Dutchmen have any future games scheduled.
