Basketball Recap: Copley Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Copley lost to Gilmour Academy back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Copley Indians enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over the Gilmour Academy Lancers. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Lancers are ranked 190th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Copley is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Gilmour Academy, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Copley has already played their next match (against Brecksville-Broadview Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gilmour Academy will host Glenville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
