Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Hills). They were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the Burroughs Burros on Tuesday. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 22nd.

Oak Hills got a great performance from CARSYN LEON as she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Oak Hills let SIENNA GARCIA and KAYLA CAZAREZ run wild. GARCIA went 3-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and two RBI, while CAZAREZ scored three runs while going 5-for-4. Those four runs gave GARCIA a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of ANAYA TULA, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Oak Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Oak Hills' record now sits at 5-8. As for Burroughs, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-10.
