Birch Run is 0-10 against Bridgeport since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Birch Run Panthers will play host again and welcome the Bridgeport Bearcats, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Birch Run suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 49-29 loss at the hands of Frankenmuth. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Birch Run has scored all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Bridgeport, who are still winless after their seventh match. Their tough 63-41 defeat to Glenn on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Bridgeport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 567th, while Glenn is ranked 126th).
Birch Run bumped their record down to 2-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Bridgeport, they have fallen quite a ways from their 20-5 record last season and are now at 0-7.
