Soccer Game Preview: Hope vs. Woonsocket

Hope hasn't had much luck against Woonsocket recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blue Wave will be playing at home against the Villa Novans at 4:15 p.m.

On Friday, neither Hope nor Central Falls could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woonsocket). They blew past Mt. Pleasant 8-1 on Wednesday. Surprisingly, this marked Woonsocket's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Woonsocket's win bumped their record up to 3-5. Hope's draw gives them a new season record of 4-2-2.

Hope beat Woonsocket 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Blue Wave repeat their success, or do the Villa Novans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
