Basketball Recap: East Granby Takes a Loss

East Granby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stafford Bulldogs. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

East Granby's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Stafford, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

East Granby will take on Canton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Canton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three matchups. As for Stafford, they will square off against Granby Memorial at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
