Basketball Game Preview: Bethel Park Black Hawks vs. Baldwin Highlanders

The Bethel Park Black Hawks are taking a road trip to face off against the Baldwin Highlanders at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, Bethel Park lost to Mt. Lebanon on the road by a 64-45 margin. While losing is never fun, the Black Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, Baldwin entered their tilt with Ringgold on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Rams, posting a 72-41 win. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.

Baldwin's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Bethel Park, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Bethel Park lost to Baldwin on the road by a decisive 71-55 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Bethel Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
