Football Recap: Santiago Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Segerstrom, Santiago was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They managed a 12-6 win over the Bolsa Grande Matadors. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 26-25 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Santiago back to even at 1-1. As for Bolsa Grande, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Santiago will challenge rival La Quinta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bolsa Grande is set to square off against their familiar foe Garden Grove at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
