Lily Thomas posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
